Invisible Man Comment #2

The way Invisible Man is slowly losing his optimism for people towards the end of the book is kind of disheartening. He has been let down so many times, and becomes cynical and suspicious of every person he comes across. Invisible Man feels undervalued and starts taking his frustration out on other people, which leads to his ultimate downfall in society.

  1. This relates to my book (it is my book) because the narrator feels that there is no hope for the white folk to treat the colored as equals
