Once the teenagers make it to America, a stereotype is put upon them that kind of degrades them and puts them in an uncomfortable place. The immigrants end up changing themselves to fit in with the rest of the Americans. All the while, the immigrants are secretly putting a negative stereotype on the American teenagers that changes the way they thought about America in general.
