I am Gabriella and I am reading Columbine. In this book the news reporters are using many stereotypes for trying to figure out who the shooters are. They keep thinking the shooters are outcasts, some even thought they were terrorists because they were wearing black coats. It is ironic because none of those stereotypes are true in this situation.

  1. Hi, I am Anish and I am also reading Columbine.I agree with what you said. Dylan was more of the suicidal person and Eric was more of the physcopath. None of them were outcasts. Eric was very popular and Dylan had a girlfriend. The trench coats was worn because they like Trench Coats and they were in the Trench Coat Mafia which was not bad. Therefore I agree with you.

  2. I am reading The Help. There is a character named Celia who is judged on the man she married and what she looks like (her clothes not skin) even though she is white. Like your characters, Hilly tried to guess what Celia was like because she never leaves her house and spread misinformation about Celia. Celia is more complex than Hilly will ever know. Just like the media will never really know the shooters from Columbine.
