I am Sarah and I am reading Columbine. In the book the author goes into detail about Dylan, one of the shooters, and disguses how he was not into violence and never wanted to hurt anyone. As a child Dylan always was a sweet boy who loved nature and would go on fishing trips with his dad. Dylan occasionally had out bursts but everyone thought he would grow out of it. He was a genius and was put into advanced classes all through school. As he grows up he gets attached to his bestfriend Eric and he copies everything Eric does. Because of Dylans lack of self confidence, he followed Eric into this horrible decision.

Yes "Columbine" is a very descriptive book like you were describing. Sometimes it can make the book a lot of fun to read and sometimes it can make it boring.
